WORKFORCE HOLDINGS ACQUIRES CHARTALL BUSINESS COLLEGE

Acquisition of the DHET registered private college, Chartall Business College, adds depth and further education and training offerings to Workforce’s Training Cluster.

In line with diversifying and growing the Workforce business, we have acquired Chartall Business College. Chartall Business College delivers accredited and niche training courses, primarily to the financial services sector, and provides an accredited on-line undergraduate degree and vocational qualifications. With this exciting acquisition, our training cluster is further expanding its offerings of specialised and workplace relevant training to corporate clients and individual learners, thereby stimulating business and growing the economy.

Chartall Business College is accredited to offer over 60 courses, including a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, National Certificates and Diplomas and various short courses.  The College is registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training as both a private FET college and as a private Higher Education Institution, as well as being accredited by various SETAs, including BANKSETA.

Workforce’s Training Cluster now consists of Training Force, Prisma Training Solutions, KBC Holdings, the Dyna Group and Chartall Business College. Each of these entities provides specialised, niched training offerings to both general and specific industries. All are highly regarded participants in their respective markets.

This further growth of our Training Cluster will play an important part in further diversifying the group’s earnings and revenue base, further increasing the cluster’s EBITDA contribution going forward.

Commenting on the rationale for the acquisition, Ronny Katz, CEO of Workforce adds, “The Chartall Business College acquisition further enhances our training cluster by adding a prominent industry specific and workplace relevant education and training provider to our existing training portfolio and their expertise and know-how in the online environment will benefit the cluster as a whole.”

Chartall Business College’s Dr Karen Deller  had this to say about the new business development, “We are excited to be joining the Workforce group who can support our growth and expansion initiatives.  We also now have the prospect of marketing some of our full qualifications and courses to a wider client base.”
