DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH APPOINTS ALLMED TO SOURCE NURSING STAFF IN THE WESTERN CAPE

The Department of Health in the Western Cape has appointed Allmed Healthcare Professionals, a Workforce Holdings Limited (JSE: WKF) company, to source nursing staff for all the province’s state hospitals for the next two years, which commenced on 1 July 2015. Allmed will supply professional nurses and sisters, staff nurses and auxiliary nurses according to the Department’s ongoing requirements.

“This will be the seventh year we will be working with the Department of Health in the almedpic_1Western Cape, because management there knows we can source professional, caring and qualified nursing staff,” says Donald Houston-McMillan, Managing Director of Allmed. “We were contracted to them from 2007 to 2012, and we are once again looking forward to sourcing the critical skills the Department of Health needs to deliver a quality service to the citizens of the Western Cape, the majority of whom depend on the state to provide for their healthcare needs.”
